"Seeziel batterie Wijk am See"
WN 66 and WN 63 2./M.A.A. 201
You can find this battery (Wn66) in Wijk aan Zee, it is located at the south side of the village, when you drive along the coastroad in the direction of the factories you will find them.
This battery contains three casemates and one fire control post, they are in a very good condition and easily to visit because they are located just beside the road.
The fire control post is now a restaurant and is painted in camouflage colours, there are still two nice turrets in front of the observation post.
At the northt side of the fire control post you can find one casemate and at the other side you can find the other two.
The other location (WN63) at Wijk aan Zee is located near the village, if you walk to the beach you can take a path into the dunes, you can see already the observation at the top of the dunes.
In the dunes you can find some bunkers, a Mammut bunker and a 621 personnel bunker,
there are also two Vf bunker combinations, a 453 bunker for two officers and a 450 bunker for 12 men.
Most of the bunkers are not open, only the two Vf bunkers can be entered.
