A bridge over the Limfjord, for railway and road traffic, built in 1938, makes a connection between the north/west side of Denmark, straight to the centre of Denmark.
On both sides of the bridge the Germans built strongpoints to protected and control this quick connection trough the hart of Denmark.

On the north side you find several bunkers on the left and right side of the railway and the road, to protect the bridge and the way up to it. A bit more north of the bridge, away in a wooded area between lots of holiday houses now a days, is an additional section of bunkers. A beautiful bunker type 634 with a nice cupola on top is hidden there, but we found it.

2x L409A Bunker with gun emplacement for 2/3.7cm AA gun.
1x L410A Gun emplacement for 3.7cm AA with section command post.

On both sides of the bridge the Germans builtstrongpoints to protected and control this quick connection trough the hart of Denmark.

On the south side you find most bunkers on the east side of the railway and road. Coming over the bridge you see a big L409A AA bunker standing on you right hand. The railway is crossing the area between the bunkers and was thus protected at the same time.
