WB Dänemark, VB Aalborg, Stp. Kübel, Bpt. 45.

On the outskirts of Aalborg, near the waterfront, you find the Stp. Kübel that was functioning as an Ammunition storage for the airfield during the war.
On this location there is still a 622 (name "45680 Karlsruhe") and a Vf Siegfried-unterstand for 6 man and a "Ammunition bunker from 1940"(building nr 84). This last one is not a standard type of German bunker.

Aalborg.

Along one of the main roads crossing the large industrial area at the east-side of Aalborg, there are still some Stützpunkten or remains of them.
Stp. Pille can be found at the north-eastern side of the main road, called Rordalsvej, near the small village of Hennedal. About 50 -100 meter from the road, and partly hidden in the woods lies a 622 bunker and in the farmland lies a L13 bunker (number 45690). This was a special Luftwaffe 20 mm Flak38 design, that normally had panzer cupola or a tank-turret on top of it. This one is missing the top and a part of the concrete roof is fallen down.
On the other side of the road there are remains of a Air raid shelter type 53, with building nr 17 that was built in 1940. Next to the shelter you can still find a small piece of the taxi-runway of Abstellplatz A, with a 17 airplane boxes.

Stp. Sense can be found at the south-eastern side of the main road called Rordalsvej, near the small village of Hennedal, just across the Stp. Pille.
We have no pictures of the main bunkers of this location, but we came across a small "look-alike water supply bunker", with German building nr. 56 designed in 24-06-1940.

By entering the industrial area from the E45, driving over the Rordalsvej and near a petrol tank park, you find a bunker for use by civilians, called a "Civil Daekningsgrav" a Danish design.
