Douarnenez, Point de Leidé. (Treboul)
AOK 7, KVA C1, KV.Gr. Quimper, KVU.Gr. Douarnenez, Qu 10.

This location can be found north/west of the village Treboul/Douarnenez. At the Pointe you'll need to walk 15min along the cliffs (Grand Randone 34), the tobruk of one of the bunkers is clearly visible; the bunkers are hidden in the shrubs and can be missed easily.

The location is rather special. No information was found in our sources. We identified the bunkers by taking measurements and notes. There are two St. bunkers. A 515 with a modified entrance and without its armoured plate, but its periscope-tube still present. The second bunker, a few meters behind the 515, is an impressive 604 for a PAK (Panzer Abwehr Kanone). The inside of the 604 is still ok. There are even pencil marks on the wall in the ammunition room. We assume that they are calculations made by the Germans.
On top of the hill, coming from above, is a lonely tobruk that is probably guarding the back of this defence-point.

Douarnenez, Le Rhun. (Treboul)
AOK 7, KVA C1, KV.Gr. Quimper, KVU.Gr. Douarnenez, Qu 09.

In this small village, next to the town Douarnenez some bunkers are located near the beach.

There isn't much information about this location so it remains a little bit of a mystery.. There are some buried bunkers that we couldn't identify, but there is a clearly recognizable tobruk. The biggest mystery is a bunker that, according to us, used to be an open emplacement. After the war an additional construction on top of it was built. This because there are several ammunition niches inside. The openings as they are today are, way too large to be used for observation. It is very unlikely this construction was used as a casemate. What is left is the inscription '1942' at the backside of the bunker.  What does it stand for? Is it original?
