This location can be found at the north side of the river the Adour.
When you drive in the direction of the coast, you pass the village Boucau and after you pass an industrial zone, you can see the big observation tower already lying in the dunes/fields.
At this location where many bunkers were built, you can find today some complete bunkers and lots of debris and remains of bunkers that are almost completely hidden underneath the sand.
Three of the four casemates are almost completely demolished.
The observation tower is very impressive and still in a nice condition. Above the entrance of the tower there is still his name Barbara visible. We have missed that, because we were running out of time, so this location is not really covered. There are lots of bunkers and remains that are unidentified by us. It was really hard to determine what kind of bunkers they were, so that is still something we can work at in the future.
