Corniche-Basque, Socoa.
AOK 1, KVA F, KVU-Süd, KV.Gr. St-Jean de Luz, M.K.B. Socoa West, Ba 59.

When you drive on the D912 from Hendaye to St Jean de Luz, you see near the crossing with the D913 (in the direction of the A63) a fire-control post. This fire-control post is of the navy type M162a. At the beach there are some remains of two casemates M170. They have probably fallen off the cliffs.
On the other side of the road you find some debris. When you walk more inland over a small farmer road, you find a bunker in the bushes, well covered with vegetation. It is a flanking bunker type 612.

Types:
1x M162a Fire control post for light coastal battery.
1x 612 Embrasured emplacement for assault guns without annex room.
2x M170 Embrasured emplacement (90º).
France, Pyréneés-Atlantiquees, Corniche-Basque.
