Grainval
Wn. 7 battery Grainval
This battery can be found in the small village Grainval, south of Fecamp.
Take in the town St. Leonard at the roundabout the left exit in the direction of the coast, this is the Route de Grainval.
The battery consist four emplacements for a 155mm gun and several other bunkers for personnel, kitchen and ammunition.
Some of the bunkers are original French and re-used by the Germans, the bunkers can't be entered and are in a poor condition.
When we tried to come closer near the ammunition bunkers, a herd of cows came running towards us and we were forced to go back over the fence, maybe the bunker was there favourite one.
