Le Havre

The town of Le Havre was a Festung and was therefor heavily defended, during the war it has been bomb several times and after the war most of the works have been demolished for the extension of the industrial zone. But there are still some remains left, we have found near Port Nord at the Rue de Chantiers a small bunker but the bunker was closed and we couldn't see what kind of type it was.

Near the northern side of the harbour we found at the and of the pier, behind a fence, a casemate and it looks like if there is a second casemate next to it but that is very hard to see and we were not able to recognise the type. When you look at the southern bank of the harbour you can see a large building lying at the end of the pier, that is build by the Germans but we couldn't come near it because of the oil-installations.

Types :
1x Unidentified bunker.
2x casemates.
