Part two: Central part
The best way to enter this main part is to drive to the cemetery in Petit-Appeville, a small suburb of Dieppe.
From here you can enter the fields on the hill, on your right hand are a 630 mg bunker and a garage for a gun that looks like a Vf. 54a. From there you can walk to the top of the hill and we have found lots of mg bunkers, personnel bunkers and tobruks connected with nice trenches. On top of the hill is a nice radar bunker for a Mammut, L485, around the radar bunker are several Flak emplacements with personnel bunkers. Behind the L485, on the other side of the fence lay a nice 622 personnel bunker. In one of the personnel bunkers, Vf. 2a, have we found a beautiful wall decoration. All the 630 mg bunkers have been stripped of there armoured parts but still they look impressive. One of the Vf. 2a served as a hospital, inside there is still a red cross and some red paint on the wall. The whole hill is covered with all kinds of bunkers and trenches, that makes this location very special and very interesting.
We were there on a beautiful day and that result in nice pictures and we had an excellent view over the hills and the coast, we have been walking here for about 4 hours but it was worth it. All the bunkers can be entered but some times it was very difficult because of all the vegetation.
