At the east side of St Valery en Caux near the Dechetterie is a 679 casemate that is partly demolished.
You can walk around the Dechetterie and then walk to the bunker there supposed to be a 134 and a 621 on this location but we didn't found them, they are also working around the bunker so maybe they have covered the bunkers with earth and sand.
Near the coast are three emplacements, L409a and a L410a emplacement with a command post, the emplacements have been closed either with vegetation or with lots of rubbish and mud. When you follow a path down the stairs to the harbour you will find remains of a casemate, when you look at it from below you can see that half of the bunker has disappeared.
It must have been a casemate because you can still see the ammunition niches and this position requires a casemate.
On the roof of a small building attached to the L409a we have found a nice data written in the concrete, Sept 1943 and a swastika.
300m further to the east is a 636a fire-control post, the bunker can be entered but is in a poor condition, you can still a nice emergency exit and the emplacement on the roof for the measuring equipment. East of the 636a are some remains of a tunnel and at a piece of concrete we discovered a date: 11.2.44, it could be that the former bunker were the date belonged to has fallen of the cliff because we didn't found any trace of a bunker.
