Simmerath.
Westwall, Hürtgenwald, Höckerlinie.
Along the road between Simmerath and Lammersdorf, there where you cross a small stream, you can find and enter a Höckerlinie.
There are signs indicating where you can enter the line and walk freely along it for about 1.5 km from a total length of 12 km's. It's very nice to see how the German's integrated those concrete obstacles into the landscape and also in combination with some water way construction. Driving further trough the landscape you will still see more part's of the Höckerlinie between houses and at the farmland.
