Bunnik.
Forest Amelisweert.
At the south side of the village of Bunnik, along the N411, you find the location Rijnauwen. Rijnauwen is the name of a former castle and lies in a forest named Amelisweert.
In the fields you see a lot of personnel shelters from World War One. In the forest and in the fields around the forest, are some pyramids; personnel shelters from World War Two of Dutch design.
It is a nice location to make a walk with family or friends also seeing some nice bunkers. There are also some old tank ditches and others obstacles.
In the forest you also find an old fort from the Hollandsche Waterlinie. This location is only open during summertime and on special days
