You can find this battery in Wijk aan Zee, it is located at the south side of the village, when you drive along the coastroad in the direction of the Corus factories you will find them at the right side off the road.
This battery contains casemates from the type 671 and a fire-control bunker, type M 473a, two the casemates are open, in the most northern one is still the number 5636A visible.
The fire-control bunker is now a restaurant and not always open for the public, the steel observation parts are still visible and looks very nice, the bunker is re-painted in camouflage colours by the new owners.
When we visited the battery in 4/2006, the fire-control bunker was again re-painted and the owner let us in and so we could photograph the inside. The weather was much better then during the first visit so we took some other nice pictures and put them between the old ones.
