This location lies at the south-western side of Oostvoorne, near the Duinlaan and the Duinoordseweg. Signs are leading you towards the Biber bunker, that is a museum now a day.
Walking towards the Biber bunker, you will see around you several hills. They are covering Vf bunkers and other objects. The Biber bunker is only open by appointment or on special days. The bunker was the central spot where most of the radar information came together. Here the information was used and sent further on for the air defence and fighter plains (Jafü).
The objects belonging to this Stützpunkt are spread over a large area and are difficult to find in the dune terrain.
After the war the Biber bunker was also used as a command bunker for the civil protection services called "BB Bescherming Bevolking" Because of its size and many rooms. Therefore there were some additional attachments added to the bunker like the air-conditioning system in case of ABC danger. Inside the bunker, most you see is as it was during the Cold War time as BB HQ. Still impressive because of its size and many rooms.
