This battery is located at the north side of the Hague, near Oostduin at the street called "Zwarte pad".
This is a very nice complete battery, there are four casemates and a fire control post and some other secondary works.
They are in a nice condition, you can enter the dunes to come closer to the bunkers but than you risk a visit of the police, in the bunkers stood a 15cm sk.c/28 gun. They were operated by the 8/M.A.A (Naval Artillery Regiment), there were around 200 men stationed at this location. First the guns were placed in the open emplacements but later on they were put in the 671SK.
There is a large underground system, about 2km's, that connects all the bunkers and supporting buildings of the battery. Thanks to the hospitality of a local "bunker squad" we where able to visit some parts of the underground tunnel system and the connected objects.
