Under the regular hospital of Goes, Admiraal de Ruyter Hospital on ‘s-Gravenpolderseweg 114 is a so-called “emergency hospital” which could be started up and made operational in the event of special circumstances. This was a protected accommodation with reinforced construction, gas locks and protection against nuclear and chemical agents.
